Our carefully curated boxes are designed to provide comfort, alleviate stress and provide practical resources to those facing the challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis. Choose from 4 different boxes.
Our Take Care of Yourself box includes self-care items which will ease the challenge of cancer, by providing a little bit of support to help you through hard days. This package includes items such as face wipes, hand cream and lip balm, to help you look after your skin and soothe dry skin. Also included is some shower gel and hand gel, to ensure that you still feel fresh and clean. A thermometer is included in the box, which can be potentially life-saving for those newly diagnosed with cancer, as changes in temperature can be quickly caught. The pack also contains even more self-care items! WWAC want to help take the pressure off of looking after yourself, and so this package was designed to provide you with the little things that might be easy to forget about during cancer treatment.
This box is designed for people dealing with hair loss from cancer treatment. The products included have been specially chosen to protect your hair, and to provide support. The items include a Simple shampoo, an Aqueous cream, and almond or coconut oil, which are all soothing and gentle products. Also included is a soft cap and a silk pillow case, which will protect your hair as you sleep, as they are both made of soft material and will protect a sensitive scalp at night. A flannel and a hairbrush are also included.
WWAC would also like to say thank you again to Kay McCutcheon and George Pritchard, whose incredible fundraising effort at the Glasgow Kiltwalk allowed us to fund this box.
This box has been created to help alleviate the anxiety and stress that comes with cancer treatment. It can be a very worrying time, and having something to take your mind off of treatment can be useful. This Box contains colouring books and pencils, which will promote mindfulness, and hopefully will be therapeutic for you.
We have designed a box for children who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, or with a loved oneโs diagnosis. It can be a hard time for children, who may not fully understand cancer, and may be afraid of it, so this package includes a Worry Monster, who will listen and gobble up childrenโs worries. This friendly toy will allow children to express and understand their worries, and eventually help them to let go of these thoughts.
